The Ghan is a legendary train that traverses the Australian continent from north to south, running between Darwin in the Northern Territory and Adelaide in South Australia. The train is named after the Afghan camel drivers who used to transport goods across the outback in the late 19th century.
Both rail journey have rich history, stunning scenery, and luxury travel and remain two of the most iconic train journeys in the world.
