Travel Consultant - Leisure & Cruise – Full Time Position Available

Holiday World exists to help travellers create, anticipate and experience holidays of a lifetime.

Holiday World is an award winning AFTA and ATAS Travel Accredited agent servicing Port Stephens travellers since 1995. We are also a proud member of Independent Travel Group.

We are looking for someone very special to join our successful in store team. Obviously, you will have a passion for travel, be well travelled and have amazing communication skills online and offline; that’s a given! However, the position also requires a professional who has excellent sales and organisation skills.

You must have:

  • An amazing attention to detail and a systematic approach to solving problems

  • The ability to work to a tight and often last minute schedules

  • Can cope with interruptions and the need to  multi-task to complete your day

  • An affinity with dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s

  • A desire to get the paperwork right, balance the budget and understand profit v’s revenue.  

  • A super friendly personality and love meeting new and sometimes challenging people to help solve  their travel challenges

  • A strong destination and cruise product knowledge

  • Good computer skills – Galileo or Sabre preferred

  • Proven customer service and sales experience

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
